Doechii brings the Swamp to Paris Fashion Week
Doechii's got her foot on our necks, Katy Perry proposed to Rebecca Black, and Charli xcx is making Glastonbury Fest bratty.
If there has ever been a time when my paws are up, it’s now. New York City is buzzing over MAYHEM, and I can’t get enough…so much so that I’ve accidentally gone out every night since Wednesday, and despite watching the clock change from 1:59 AM to 3 AM while having a late night slice at Bleeker Street Pizza (top 3 fav slices in NYC btw) after my second MAYHEM release party this week, I’m not stopping just yet because tonight I get to cover an event with the winners of the Traitors S3 at 92NY! Doechii steals the show at Paris Fashion Week
There’s no denying that Doechii has already won 2025 and she has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. After opening the Dsquared2 fashion show in Milan and performing ALTER EGO with JT, she decided to keep her foot on our throats and step out in look after look after look in Paris.
There’s something so exciting about watching Doechii navigate her stardom - she’s truly in her own lane, going full throttle with her foot on the gas pedal. Each of these looks is unique but still somehow true to Doechii’s brand and character. She’s truly like a shapeshifter in all aspects of her career, and we’re watching something really special as she blossoms into the next phase of her career. Did I mention she performed with Ms. Lauryn Hill last night in Miami? Don’t even get me started on how incredible it is to watch the first woman to take home Best Rap Album at the GRAMMYs and the most recent winner perform together…I’ll be here all day.
Katy Perry proposed to Rebecca Black…to open for her on tour
When Katy Perry announced her Lifetimes Tour she said she wanted it to be a full-on dance party, so who better to open the show than Rebecca Black!? Last night, during Rebecca’s LA stop of her SALVATION Tour, she surprised the crowd with no other than Katy Perry for a performance of ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’ and for Katy to pop the big question: “will you go on tour with me?”

Glastonbury 2025 lineup is here and it’s stacked
One of my bucket list concerts to attend is Glastonbury Festival. There have been so many iconic moments in live music, from Beyoncé becoming the first solo black woman to headline in 2011, Miley Cyrus deciding to file for divorce from Liam Hemsworth moments before she stepped on stage, and Lorde’s electric set from 2017, it’s always bearing so many incredible performances - and this year will be no different.
Earlier this week they announced the first round of performers, including Charli xcx, Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, and Raye, just to name a few. I’m already giddy thinking about whatever Doechii is going to bring to this stage paired with Charli throwing a full-on rave just three hours away from where she’s from.
